As I peer into the reflection of myself from my beautiful wife's beautiful dark eyes I see myself aging as today I turn another year older. However I don't fear this as I am becoming more and more dignified with age. My father always reassured me that aging is not something to worry about for it bring us closer to God and his Kingdom. I suppose he was correct in that premise, more and more I see my children age too. I see a lot of myself in my eldest Jean-Claude, especially in some of his more prideful vices, my youngest Jacques is much more virtuous in some aspects like my beautiful Elisabet. I love my boys so very much, I'm glad work isn't too far so that I'm able to watch them grow into fine young men. I even believe Jean-Claude might enlist in the Army as an officer. How I would be so proud to see him achieve much, however I would be lying if I didn't say I was worried for his safety, especially considering the current situation with the Indians to the South.
