John Key, (born February 3rd, 1745), is a single child who was born to Marie Key and Alexander Key. Key's family was affluent and they eventually directed him to the practice of law. Upon graduating law school, Key was admitted into the Massachusetts bar at the age of 21.
Key was eventually elected to the state Senate before being elected to the Federal House of Representatives.
