Name: Jacob Chandler
Party: Republican
DoB: November 21st, 1765
Birthplace: New York, New York
Residence: Richmond, Virginia
Profession: Captain, USN
Bio: Jacob Chandler was born during a time of turmoil the Colonies were about the rebel. Tensions were high. Jacobs parents were killed by British forces during the last days of the New York Campaign. Jacob was then an orphan running the streets of New York. When he was 11 a sailor brought him aboard his ship to assist in cleaning the ship. Jacob soon became an impressive sailor, surpassing his mentor and his crew. During a trip in the Caribbean his mentor was killed in a pirate raid. Jacob and most of the crew survived. The crew loyal to their previous captain urged Jacob to take command of the ship. Vowing to avenge the death of his mentor and parents, Jacob armed and trained his crew, renaming the ship, Protector, Jacob pursued the man who took away his last remaining family. Soon, after he offered the crew a chance to leave or stay, the crew overwhelmingly voted to stay. Jacob moved the ship back to what is now the United States, and bought two more ships, and ordered a third one built to replace his aging flagship. He promoted a members of his crew to captain the other vessels. The third was a frigate, built to be a fast but formidable ship on the high seas. Jacob uses three ships to run cargo across the Atlantic and along the United States. The Covenant, as the newly built ship was called was commissioned by the United States Navy and is now used by Jacob to conduct missions for the United States Government, who was granted the rank of Captain.
