Dear Governor Martin,
The threat of a Creek incursion upon our lands is greater than we have ever anticipated. This war is no longer just a war between the Creeks and the State of Georgia, but rather a wider conflict between the Indians and the entire Union. North Carolina is no longer safe, and I believe that our state needs to further strengthen our militia to combat this growing threat, hence I request that we raise an additional 3 regiments on draft for a period of 1 year in order to decisively beat back the Indians.
