To my darling wife,
All is well in the city of New York, though I do miss you and the children. Hopefully during the holidays I can come down and visit you. It can be dreadfully lonely in this city, but I am happy in the affairs of government.

Congressman Crowe,
I would be honored to have you and one guest join me for a ball I am holding at my plantation in Georgia over the next few days. Should you desire to come I will personally send you one of my carriages for the journey and transport you there along with any belongings you should desire to bring for the trip. I look forward to getting to know you and every other Congressman at this gathering and look to the future as we set up our great nation anew.
