QUOTE OF THE DAY“I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is a disgrace, that two become a lawfirm, and that three or more become a congress.”
- John Adams
A STENCH MOST FOULBy: Samuel Jay
I can no longer in good faith remain a member of the Republican Party and as of this post I hereby resign from the political party with the hopes that I can help put together a new party that believes in common sense solutions and a party that believes as I do that Slavery is a sin and that it must, for posterity sake, must be removed. Until now I have believed in slavery as a States rights but in the last days I have been doing a lot of reading from men like John and Samuel Adams from the New Testament and I believe Slavery stands against God's will and with close examination of the New Testament you can see Freedom is considered a God given right. We are robbing negroes of this right to their freedom every day as we continue to bring them into our nation by the boat load.
The triangle trade must be eliminated no matter what it's cost to New England and the South. It is a dirty rotten business and we can not be a nation that doesn't stand for freedom for all. For those who still wish to take part in the filthy business of slavery let the chains of their burden way heavy upon them and may Posterity forgive us and forget that these people are our countrymen.
However the stench of slavery is not the only stench in states today. Congressmen showing up to debates and voting on legislation with personal gripes and full of booze from a local tavern they are stinking drunk while these men decide on the laws that shall govern you and your states. While not every man comes to work publicly intoxicated there are enough to raise this issue. We must demand sobriety in our laws and the New Hampshire Gazette asks you to go out write your congressmen and tell them to support the "Public Intoxication In Congress Act."

The New York Daily Times has acquired the National Inquisitor, and is shutting down the NI. All NI subscribers will automatically be transferred to a subscription of the NYDT. The NYDT will hire on what staff it can of the NI.
