Name: Albert Hannover
State: Massachusetts
Date of birth: Jaunary 15, 1743
Birth Place: Berlin, Prussia
Place of residence: Boston, Massachusetts
Family:
June Hannover (Wife)
Alexander Hannover (Son)
State: Massachusetts
District: 3rd
Alma mater: Prussian War College
Religion: Lutheran
Party: Federalist
Short biography:
Although born in Germany, Albert soon migrated to England due to his father's job with the East India Company, which Anglicized Albert quickly in his youth. As a young man, however, Albert soon came to hate the Kings of Europe and enrolled in the Prussian War College in order to use his military training in America. After graduating from the College, he was able to flee the country on a British merchant ship, and soon found his way to the American colonies. By his arrival, tensions were already high in the colonies, and on the outbreak of war quickly joined the Continental Army.
Albert rose the ranks fast due to his military training, and reached the rank of Lieutenant fairly quickly. However, a bullet to his shoulder almost resulted in amputation, and he was forced to be discharged from the Army. However, Albert contributed in other ways to the war effort, working for the Continental Congress as an messenger, eventually using his contacts in Prussia to try, and ultimately fail, to have Prussia put pressure on Britain at home.
After the war, Albert soon took interest in the new republic that was being founded, and sought a stronger central government due to the failed Articles of Confederation. When the Constitution was released, Albert was a strong advocate, especially since it would grant him natural-born status due to his residency at the time of ratification.
With the Constitution ratified, Albert son ran for Congress and won in Massachusetts 3rd district.
