Battle of Lexington and Concord (Test Battle)
General Terrus of the British Boston Garrison v General Tedder of the Massachusetts Militia
Turn 1:
Starting Statistics: The British have 800 raised, but are capable of 2000 with Boston reserves Have about 700 loyalist volunteers garrisoning Boston.
The Patriots are all militia, but can mobilize about 3000 quickly.
Both are equally armed, with Patriot morale slightly higher. However, British troops are better trained.
British objective, as issued by the Crown, are to conquer Lexington and Concord.
The Americans are only ordered to defend the towns, Boston is an optional but not mandatory goal.
The map currently looks like this:

Alright, now this is more of a trial and error scenario for all of us. While I am sure both of you are going to play fair, I ask you PM your moves and I will announce both of them at once as well as the results of this.
As stated, all reserves for Britain shall come from Boston. The Americans, however, will have 750 at each camp (making it even for simplicity purposes, this isn't always the case).
The loyalists militia are less willing to leave their homes in Boston than British regulars, and therefore, will only participate in the defense of Boston.
Any technical questions may be posted here, and feel free for outside spectators to ask too. All questions lead to one less unfilled crack.

Turn 1:
In summary: The British have taken the south-eastern encampment. The encampment was mostly abandoned, but ~75 stragglers were taken prisoner and shipped back to Boston. Lexington and Concord are under firm Patriot hands, as the British have opted for a patient approach. Garrisons in Boston have had a few commotions, but nothing that would compromise the city itself.
Clarifications: As the main purpose is trial and error, let me note here publicly a few initial hicks: -Broad orders are prefereed, this allows for more flexibility and less workload on both sides, player and admin. -In real battles, most regiments will be given names, especially if there is multiple units. -Note that battles itself are actually rare, and most of the time battles tactically will be simulated. In the few occurances where battles occur like this, we do stress preparation, hence why we are doing a test. Remember, warfare is secondary.
