To File a Case for the Courts to Hear, Create a thread entitled with the Name of your case (Plaintiff's Last Name v. Defendant's Last Name1)
Please include the Following;
1. Facts of the Case, in other words, what happened that the courts would need to review a law? 2. Demands; What do you/the plaintiff want out of the case?
In order to be as successful as possible, you should make sure of the following;
Feasibility: A case which is entirely ridiculous or so unlikely that it happened exactly once will not get far with the courts, and is likely to get thrown out, they aren't in the business of setting precedent for one person. Counter-Argument: Needless to say, whatever you're trying to strike down will have supporters, and if you create an airtight case specifically to get something struck down, the Courts are likely to throw the case out.
1In cases including a State or the Nation, the name of the State is used, if the Federal Government is being sued, U.S. should be used.
