All- thanks so much for the hard effort you're putting into this. I really think that we'll be able to turn the tide and pick up some great seats here.
Here's the plan for today:
Terrus will continue to help us out in the Northeast
Addie will focus on the South.
Landry/Mulready: Another editorial for PA. I like what you're doing on attacking Republicans, so keep it up there. Also, please make speeches in Maryland like you have. Go ahead and get a short statement of support for the current Senator (http://conceivedinliberty.freeforums.net/thread/506/1790-senate-election) and for our Governor. Otherwise, you're doing well. If you need help with names and the like, lemme know.
Magenta/Steward: I'd like you to look at our election list (http://conceivedinliberty.freeforums.net/thread/519/1790-election-planning-federalists-read) and do an editorial for Connecticut. Really hit hard on that Republican using the points below. I think you're a great writer, so you can do this. Additionall,y, please make a couple speeches in Maryland, and have your character actually go visit with MD legislators on the Governor's race.
Legion/Broussard: Please do an editorial for PA. I'd also appreciate it if you continued to work the Massachusetts Senate on Dalton as you have- it's been great. Please also consider penning a letter to the New York legislature on behalf of Schuyler. If you need ideas for what to say, check out this endorsement- and make sure you mention it! (http://conceivedinliberty.freeforums.net/post/3052)
jgonieal/Clay: Please do an editorial for PA. Also, if you could, deliver a speech in New York in support of the incumbent (if you want more ideas, here's the endorsement from the New York Daily Times- make sure to mention it! New York is a state known for its experienced, competent legislators, men like James Terrus, Jackson Clay, and Egbert Benson. The NYDT proudly endorses Benson because without a doubt, he will provide the state the most powerful representation possible. Benson's experience is unparalleled -- he's served as New York Attorney General, State Assemblyman, Safety Committeeman, Continental Congressman, Annapolis Convention delegate, and United States Congressman. Before that, he spent years practicing law to great effect, becoming amongst the most influential attorneys in New York City. Benson gave up that authority to support the revolution, but he never gave up the competence that led him to rise so quickly. Now, he's risen again, and New York should elevate him once more to Congress to allow him to continue his superb service.). Lastly, your help would be appreciated if you met with the New York Legislature on behalf of Schuyler. If you need help with ideas, let me know- but take a look at what others have done in these races and see if you can do something similar.

KEY MESSAGES:
- On REPUBLICANS: They are now talking about a "national platform" (their Party Chair, Surratt, has said so). This message means that they are trying to build an organization that is allegiance to a PARTY, not to the country. Individual members will not be secondary to the Party, and it means that individuals like Surratt, who support keeping the states in debt and minimizing the ability of the Federal Government to promote industry and prosperity (remember that this is land-owning white males that vote, so fuck the poor!). Mention that this means the party will dictate what is good for each state.
Also mention with the REPUBLICANS that they have had members who have insisted that American people- all people- vote on the big issues. Republicans want to let debtors decide on budget policy. They want to let pirates vote on national commerce and maritime policy. They want to let non-Christian heathens, adulterers, and murders vote on what is considered a crime. That will be the death of our union. - On NATIONAL DEMOCRATS: They have already promoted a party platform, so the same messaging applies. "They walk about what they do without concern to the specific regional needs!" Today, I want us to focus on the positive. Talk about how the National Democrats formed their own Party because they claimed the Federalists were inactive- but we're here, we're strong, and voters in other states are supporting our cause, our friends, and of course President Washington and his Cabinet. We are the ones that proposed a National Bank and are set to pass it- not the National Democrats. Our candidate is REAL, their candidates are hot air.
Let's also hit on local issues as well- in the North, talk about how we'll be working to promote industries in each state (actually SAY the state name- let's tailor our messages unique to each state and each district). In the Mid-Atlantic, promoting commerce and ensuring fair representation. Don't forget that the National Democrats want to expand the vote to all men (they say white men, but if you're in Maryland on South, let's pretend they mean slaves too). They promote, like the Republicans, rule by the mob. Use the phrase "tyranny of the majority is the National Democrats' credo" and things like that. - On FEDERALISTS (that's us!): The big message is that we support President Washington and everything he's doing. We don't have a national platform because we believe that every district, that every state is important. We believe in building a strong government- but that strong government will provide for the common defense, it will help states stay financially solvent (Republicans want states to keep their debts, remember), it will help us build a prosperous economy by investing in important projects. If you're in NEW YORK, talk about how we will push for a canal to ensure greater economic and industrial North. If you're in the center (PA, MD, the like), talk about how we'll promote a National Road to move goods and people and ensure that we can have a modern nation. Talk about how successful we have been- we are passing legislation, and we have proven ourselves to be an effective majority in the House of Representatives and other Federalists are needed to support our work- and to make sure we're supporting our President.
