Yeah sure. Well my job as Chairman would be to win. Winning involves a multitude of actions to be put in place. First and formost is message. What is the message of the Republican Party? I believe we're the Party of strict Constitutionalism, Neutrality in Foreign Affairs for the sake of trade and commerce, and finally, the biggest message of all, States Rights. We now have a schism going on between the Federalists. I don't know how it originated or what brought it about but right now we have an opportunity to completely pummel the Federalists and National Democrats in the elections. I seek to do just that by coordinating and formulating a message that not only speaks highly of Republican Values but that also destroys Federalist and ND values.
Secondly I believe we all need to get on the same page in regards to the issues and being consistent on the House Floor. Right now we're the most active party. I hope to continue that streak by offering incentives:
Interviews in Republican Friendly news papers; New York Daily Times and the North Carolina State Gazette.
Appointment to newly created party positions; Deputy Chairman, Media coordinator, election chair.
Following that I wish to pursue internal debate before we start scalping each other in the House or Senate chambers. The Bank bill proposed by Terrus was a great start. We're having robust debate on an issue important to all of us and it has remained in this war room and hasn't spilled out unto to the public arena. I fully embrace division and factions within this party. I believe in a big tent. However we will need polls and stakes to hold the tent together. I've all ready stated three main planks; Neutrality, Constitutionalism, and States Rights. I believe that we can all jump on the bandwagon for those three issues. As far as smaller issues go, I see no reason why we wouldn't have healthy divisions within our own party.
Main points; I want to win, I want to remain united on the key issues, and I want to encourage debate and division on the small less important issues in order to draw more into our ranks.
