Recent conduct by our current House Majority Leader had regrettably made me make this motion. So with a heavy heart I motion to remove Jackson Clay from his position as HML.

I motion the same for the Deputy Speaker. He has contributed as much to the problem as I myself, and it is completely wrong of all of you to look past it. If he offers to resign, I will do the same myself. If not, I will not be resigning or replaced, as there is no authority granted to do such a thing.

I second the motion to remove the HML.

While I had wanted a peaceful resolution, I also support the motion to remove Clay.
As to motioning me to remove me, I believe I serve at the pleasure of the Speaker. That said, if this party decides to remove me then I will respect their wishes.

You did not want peace. You wanted to get away with what you'd done. There is a difference, and it shows.

That's it hughes. You get your truce. Call off this stupid motion, and we can all just put it behind us.

I will not be recognising this motion until after I have spoken with both Clay and Hughes. Once I have finished, I will explain what I've discussed and then we can proceed from there.

Okay so here's what happened. Albie interpreted the rules to say that the Speaker controlled what bills got brought up and Clay could make requests. Clay, on the other hand, thought he controlled the docket as in line with the RL and VUSA House rules. When Albie treated Clay's 'Docket' as a request, Clay saw it as a power play, while Albie meant nothing by it. This lead to screams of SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS on the House Floor and flame wars in the WR. Clay and Albie have agreed to where Albie will control the docket but Clay can make requests, which Albie should try to honour. I know many of you are worried that this will make others think that I'm okay with flame wars and overreactions, which might lead to Clay or Albie doing this again in the future. Let me say that this is absolutely not the case any further idiocy of this kind in the future will result in a tempban until I can hold the vote on ejection. Be warned. That said, I will be permitting Clay to stay on as HML. We all deserve a second chance, and so does Clay. But fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, you get ejected.
