On the Need for a National Bank Matthew Whitney
As our nation takes it's first steps, one of the prevailing wisdom is for the development of our fledgling country's economy. As of current the flow of gold and silver and bank notes in place of it are controlled by a hodgepodge of several banks issuing a variety of notes all purporting to be worth it's value in gold. But the foundation of these banks lie on bogs and swampland. Many have issued more notes than gold in their vaults as of current, on the premise that demand for conversion shall never be a problem. But what, I ask, might happen if during an economic scramble, people rush to withdraw their gold. What than? Banks shall be ruined during one economic downturn during the ups and downs of capitalism and the economy sunk even more in the mire.
Tis' a fix for this problem. It involves bold action on the part of this first congress to create a National Bank. This bank shall be able to hold on requirement notes issued by various banks which on any time can be payed in full with gold and silver. If demanded all at once, it can come close to closing a bank for good. By this, our banking industry will no longer be permitted free range on issued notes and keep a healthy ratio of hard currency to the soft currency. But it's benefits do not end at the regulation of small banks. With the ability to issue debt of the government, the bank can raise funds for the operation of the government which benefits you and I in the form of the state's mutual defense. I implore all patriots to support this endeavor for the preservation of our young republic as it is in the interest of New Jersey, and the nation as a whole to keep trade flowing smoothly.

One Nation Under God by Thomas Crowe
Of the course of the first session of Congress the representatives of this august body have been debating a resolution enumerating but not limiting certain unalienable rights. These are the rights we fought so hard to protect. However, a different kind of debate has risen to the forefront on the floor of the House of Representatives: a debate on the very nature of our country. There exists two factions: one who sees our great nation as more of a loose confederation of 13 states united by only bonds of government. The other seeks to build a strong and unified nation, tied together by far more than just a collective Congress. I am proud to say I stand with the latter.
When the Continental Congress of the United States declared independence from the tyranny of the British government it did not do so to create 13 independent nations. We did not sacrifice so much as a people to stand divided. We did not fight this war of independence to go our separate ways as Georgians and New Yorkers but to stand as Americans.
We need a strong and stable national government to ensure the promises of 1776. But that does not mean the abolition of states, as some would suggest. A strong national government would not trample over the rights of states, but rather aid them in the process of governing. The federal government is not here to suppress rights but rather protect them from those who would with them harm.
The bill that has been presented before Congress is a crucial step in unifying our nation and enshrining the rights we fought so hard to protect in 1776. I strongly urge my colleagues in Congress to pass this legislation in the name of the promises of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Thomas Crowe is a the US Representative from Pennsylvania's 2nd District. Previously he has served as a local judge and lawyer as well as one of the representatives from Pennsylvania before the Continental Congress.

The Seeds of Tyranny By Robert G. Hill
It's been nearly over a decade and a half since the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. After a long struggle, we are free, and have never once looked back. Steadfast and resolute, we the people have determined the course of our country- one that longs for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As we soon celebrate that accomplishment, we the people, once again need to determine the fate of our future, in our new found republic.
That future must be one which holds true to our founding documents, the Constitution and the will of the people. Unfortunately, proponents of the federally chartered bank have failed to see to this view; the bank, they argue, is necessary for the stability and sustenance of our nation. My fellow readers, this is nothing more than a complete lie. Under the current proposal, the new federally chartered bank would be the largest in the Union, eclipsing even the largest regional banks. It would, due to it's size and backing by the newly proposed Treasury Department, consolidate the all the wealth of the Union away from the States, into one central location. Local and regional banks would be put out of business, access to credit outside the cities would evaporate.
Even worse, the Constitution does not grant the federal legislature the authority to form, nor regulate the issuing of printed bills, making the federally charted bank proposal, strictly unconstitutional at the present time. Passage of this bill without questioning the foundations of the provisions is deeply disturbing, and would, in effect nullify the existence of a Constitution to begin with. Without the check and balance, one is rightfully worried about the direction this would take our republic to.

Fairness of Our Finances By Isaiah Scott The questions of the day will not be decided by governmental institutions but a minimization thereof. The proposals to create a collective institution for the finances of our country, which in spirit are profitable and solvent, ought to be taken as none other than a transgression against the Rights of Man to his own properties. For a man should not realize only the stated value of his properties, which themselves are an account of his work, but their relative values after changes in his environment. As man is bound by a Social Contract, he is faced with the choice to secede, participate, or use the threat of his nullification of the existing Order to shape it to the General Will. As our History has demonstrated, this will involves no obsequiousness to a central authority, and our permanent alignment is one of Autonomy and Independence, for man and for country. The Principle of Independence shall be weakened by any concession to an authority with the potential for tyrannies. The Stamp Act is no different from the Bank Act, these acts merely take from different individuals, all of whom have a common responsibility to the General Will. For the values of the assets of the States most financially responsible; those of Georgia, its neighbors, Virginia, shall be weakened by an evident assumption of the debt burden by a Federal Government which views itself as the accountant of all the States. And if these States are given the option of procuring a new accountant, the result of this issue we hold to be self-evident. Any transgression on the Rights of the States by the Federation of States, which itself is no more than a willing cooperation under the framework of the Constitution, shall result in the procurement of a new accountant if the rational and Enlightened faculties of the free peoples of the responsible states remain intact.

The People's Choice: Prosperity under the Federalists or Feudalism under the Republicans?
By Pierre Broussard, Federalist Representative of Massachusetts' 7th District
Today, in the United States, the nation is embroiled in an electoral fervor and excitement, like no other, as in a very brief duration of time, elections will be held to determine the seats for the 2nd Congress of this young American republic, a moment that will define the path and the future of the nation. In Massachusetts, the Federalists are calling for their supporters to vote in favor of industrial growth and development and in Georgia, the Republicans are urging their constituents to choose pro-agricultural policies. The electoral results in these states can be guessed very accurately due to their heavy reliance on just one particular type of industry, and the make-up of their constituents. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, on the other hand, is an example of a state where the electoral results can only be known by our almighty God, due to it's diversity in not just its economy but it's good people as well. In this state, one key congressional district is being strenuously contested by the independents, Federalists, and Republicans, as they both attempt to win the favor of the people of Pennsylvania, and obtain the god-given right to govern as a member of the House of Representatives. Despite the extremely earnest competition, the people of Pennsylvania would be making a tragic, if anything, mistake by not putting their faith and trust into Mr. Thomas Crowe, a Federalist who will do nothing but good for this state, it's people, and both it's agricultural and industrial development. His support for industrial development in the economy and the growth of commerce, heavy industry, and maritime trade would utilize Pennsylvania's mighty rivers, ports, and resources to it's fullest, generating not just greater wealth for a select few, as the Republicans would have you believe, but prosperity for the general populace, having the fortunes obtained through supporting industry spill over to the public. Pennsylvania has rivers like its people, strong, mighty, and firm, and this access to water would provide prime opportunities for ship-building and trade along the rivers, as well as providing fuel for saw and grain mills, so that our farmers in this state may benefit too. Crowe's support for the establishment of a National Bank, a centralized entity to oversee the finances of our country, demonized as an unconstitutional step towards a tyrannical government by the Republicans but in reality, is nothing of the sort. It is not to benefit just the businessmen or wealthiest in society, but it will tremendously benefit farmers as well. Increased stability in agricultural markets, which have always been volatile, and improved and smoother control of inflation and the prices of goods, could mean the prevention of a farmer not being able to obtain enough money to feed his family, after an unpredictable year of harvests. The Republicans may claim that they are the champions of farmers and the common man but this is nothing but political grandeur to fill their newspapers, and fool those in the south who've been so isolated from urban society and the benefits of industry that they would gladly fill their ballot boxes for a party that just spouts nonsense and lies about the Federalists. Their refusal to allow the Federalists industrialize the country and develop our free republic economically, have prevented the entire union from growing to it's greatest potential, which should be entirely possible given the great patriots that call this country home, and our abundant resources. The Republicans would rather just toss a hoe and rake into the hands of their constituents then leave them to their fate. Simply, look at the states and commonwealths of the south, who are so heavily dependent on agriculture, and have endured years of Republican rule in their governments. Ask yourself, are they getting richer or poorer? Do they enjoy the plenty that we are so capable, as a nation of producing? No, they are not because the Republicans would rather see you poor, and blame it on the Federalists, by refusing to let our industry to develop, alongside agriculture, depriving you of the wealth that so many modern nations have obtained through industrial growth. The Republicans find great pleasure in expressing notions such as the Federalists wish to build a new monarchy in our young bastion of democracy and liberty, but we are not building tyrannical government, simply compassionate government, for the people, by the will of the people. If you believe in the Federalist image for a stronger, greater Pennsylvania and American Republic, please select Thomas Crowe to be your Pennsylvanian congressional representative. If you wish to see our hopeful, young nation to be transformed into the image of medieval feudalism and poverty, then by all means, select the Republican Party to represent you. But know this, the future of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States is in your vote, your ballot, your choice.

SEDITION AND MOB RULE: THE REPUBLICAN WAY
Ethan Mulready, Federalist Member for St. Mary's, St. Charles, and the South, Maryland
The men of Pennsylvania face a grave choice in the coming months: to choose to send to Congress men who will stand by our beloved Commander-in-Chief, the great General and our President, George Washington, or to send to Congress men who will stand firm with the seneschals of sedition and the would-be assassins of the Father of Our Nation. In the former camp stand great men, men who Pennsylvania may choose to elect in order to stand by our President. William Irvine is one of those men; he stands tall while others cower in fear of the mob, and stands ready to support our President as he seeks to ensure that our new nation's birth of liberty is not short-lived, nay, instead that it shall stand for a thousand years. He recognizes that our nation must be one of laws, of sound men of principle and bearing, men who will meet to debate the issues of the day and decide on our behalf: a true federal republic for a new era.
But what does Andrew Gregg stand for? What does William Findley stand for? Two things, and two things alone: the protection of the purveyors of perfidious plots, and the establishment of the rule of the angry, baying mob. Just this year, their party's comrades in Congress proposed to let every American vote upon every law. Let us take a moment to examine what that would mean for our nation: every American. It would mean extension of suffrage to debtors, to women, to those who profess no belief in our Saviour, and to those who betrayed our soldiers to the British in our patriotic war. They couch their support for this proposal with pretty words and romantic expressions of admiration for the demos of Athens. But any student of history can say that Athens swiftly fell under the sword of the invader, paralyzed by its non-functional democracy.
If that is the vision for America that you share, good men of Pennsylvania, then Andrew Gregg and William Findley will deliver. They will go to Congress to hand over America to the mob, and with it, put an end to our great experiment in liberty and democracy. They will stand with the enemies of the President and alongside those who would tear his life away from him and from our country. But if you wish to reject this vision, if you wish to see America stand proud and strong, then you must elect William Irvine. The choice is stark: a falling Athens, or a standing America.

Moderation in All Thingsby James Terrus, Attorney of the United States Our nation advances upon new frontiers today in every way. We literally advance into the NorthWest and SouthWest, discovering new lands for our growing people, and expanding the ideals of liberty and republicanism everywhere we go. We advance technologically into a new era, one sure to be defined by inventors and entrepreneurs, not conservatives. And we advance politically into a new federalist system, one previously unseen anywhere in the world. We must seek moderation in each of these endeavors -- expanding enough to allow growth, but not too much to leave our settlers protected; developing new technologies fast enough to promote prosperity, but not so fast as to leave ourselves in ruin; and making our federalist system neither into a confederacy nor a unitary republic.
Many in the parties leading this nation desire one such extreme. The Republicans opposed the creation of this government, and oppose its existence today, truly favoring a return to the Articles of Confederates. The National Democrats demand far more than this government, asking for a single, unitary democracy, not even a republic. The Federalists seek to straddle the middle, but find themselves drawn into partisan battle. As citizens, it is we who will decide which vision will be followed, and we must decide for the moderate course.
Abolishing the federal government as the Republicans suggest will undoubtedly lead to poverty and defenselessness. Let us not forget that a small rebellion was nearly able to topple the Confederacy. What will a foreign power be able to do if given the chance? We worry much about domestic tyranny, but let us not forget that we fought and died to establish independence from foreign tyranny. Maintaining that independence will require more than a loose coalition of small, independent states.
Yet transforming our federalist republic into a national democracy as the National Democrats desire will lead to equal disaster. Every democracy in the history of the world has murdered itself for tyranny of the masses is always the result of democratic governance. Mob rule must not be our future -- nor, indeed, must our future be a large federal government. For while we need a government large enough to prevent foreign tyranny, we also need one small enough to refrain from domestic tyranny.
Supporting a middle ground will require citizens to make careful decisions when voting this summer. Do not vote for those on the two extremes -- the Republicans and National Democrats. Rather, support those men in the middle, those who will strengthen our nation while protecting our liberties, and the power of our states. These men are not always independents -- many are Federalists, and some Republican or National Democratic. But all share a similar commitment to reasonable policy.
The people of New Jersey will have the honor to choose from amongst four such persons this fall: Abraham Clark, Elias Boudinot, John Witherspoon, and James Schureman. Clark is a man devoted to the public good, one who surrendered his time to represent the desperately poor, and who surrendered his sons to the cause of liberty. Boudinot is a superb administrator, a man who cut his teeth in the merchant world, then spent years working carefully to ensure the safety of Americans held prisoner by the British. Witherspoon has spent a third of a life serving God, a third of a life serving students, and a third serving the public -- and succeeded in each role. And Schureman is the quintessential rising star, an incredible legislator whose proven his worth over the last two years. These four men -- Clark, Boudinot, Witherspoon, and Schureman -- represent the best New Jersey can offer the House.
Pennsylvania possesses candidates of equal caliber, men just as able to further this nation's goals in a responsible manner. Men like Frederick Muhlenberg and Daniel Hiester need no introduction, for they are giants in the public life. Thomas Fitzsimons is an author of our Constitution, a man superbly capable of representing Pennsylvania in the House, and amongst the strongest congressional candidates nationwide. There is also Thomas Hartley, who though not very well known, deserves the greatest recognition for heroism in the Continental Army, and for reasonableness in the United States Congress. Let us not forget Thomas Crowe, who famously achieved the rank of Brigadier General in the Continental Army through strategic genius before demonstrating equally brilliant legislative abilities in the Continental Congress and the present Congress.
Yet these states are not alone. There is George Gale in Maryland, who demonstrated his commitment to liberty in the Continental Army, and William Vans Murray, a career legislator with truly innovative policy proposals. There is Philip Schuyler in New York, and Benjamin Bourne in Rhode Island, both of whom have proven themselves capable legislators. Let us not forget Jonathan Sturges of Connecticut, amongst the most well-respected Connecticut natives in our nation's history. The list goes onwards -- but what is important, in each state, is choosing the individual whose allegiance is to his constituents, not the Republicans or the National Democrats.
This November, I plan to vote for candidates who will be independent, or candidates who will fight for the Federalists' increasingly moderate policies. I can only hope that my votes are not wasted.

Elect Someone Who Shows Upby James Terrus, Attorney for the United States
There is an old saying that "decisions are made by those who show up," and I can think of no better metaphor to apply to the work of a Congressman. The House of Representatives often decides to approve or reject key legislation by just a couple of votes. The proposal for a national bank this year failed by just one vote, thanks to several National Democrats' failure to appear. The proposal for a federal tariff passed by similarly close margins, just a few Federalists making the difference. Having served in the House for a year and a half, I can say truly that walking in every morning is perhaps the most important thing that a representative can do. That is why I cannot stomach the re-election of Jonathan Dayton.
Dayton won election to Congress two years ago promising to serve New Jersey, but he has not shown up once to do his job. When the Congress debated the Bill of Rights, he was nowhere to be seen. When Congress considered establishing an Army and a Navy, he was somewhere else. When the Congress rejected the National Bank bill by a single vote, he was not in attendance, despite his known support for the measure. The list goes onwards -- he didn't consider the assumption of state debts, or the establishment of a national tariff. Congress passed two dozen highly important bills this session -- bills that will shape our federal government for centuries. And Jonathan Dayton was nowhere to be seen.
Representative Dayton is undoubtedly a good man, but we need more than good men in Congress, we need good men committed to republicanism, liberty, and service. Dayton served his country honorably in the War for Independence, and perhaps he might consider taking a military commission again in the future. But Dayton excelled in the Continental Army because he showed up for duty -- something he did not do in Congress. I do not wish to beat a dead horse, but I must say again -- Jonathan Dayton did not once attend Congress over the last two years. Congress needs the presence of men like Dayton -- men of honor and integrity. But Dayton has demonstrated that he will not grace Congress with his presence -- so we need to pick someone else.
The National Democrats may argue that Dayton deserves a second chance, but while I am not opposed to second chances, I am opposed to sending a man back to Congress after he failed to do his job there for two years. The number one job of a Representative is to vote. The number two job is to speak at debate. The number three job is to offer legislation. Jonathan Dayton did none of these things -- he never even bothered to show up. Decisions are made by those that show up -- New Jersey cannot afford a representative that will not show up.

Election for Pennsylvanian At-Large District, Federalists Only Viable Option
By Pierre Broussard, Federalist Representative of Massachusetts' 7th District
The year is 1790, and in the United States, the celebrations of victory over the British are over, the fervor of newly gained freedom is gone, and what remained for the American people was a country devastated by war, and an economy that would see decline, but yet the masses remain calm and strong, the wheels of liberty and democracy continuing to turn as the young nation prepares for the elections to determine the 2nd Congress of the United States. Although united by the cause for independence from the British Crown, the people of America have split into three opposing political factions, the Federalists, the New Democracy Party, and the Republicans. Differing policies, political warfare in Congress, and the inability for a single party to achieve a majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate could slink the nation back into further decline and threaten the integrity and prosperity of our hopeful, young, budding country. This is why this election is so important. The people of America are watching the elections closely, and in states like Georgia or Massachusetts, the results can be very easily predicted, when examining the constituency of each state, so the states that will truly determine the outcome of this tense political duel between parties, will be states like the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a diverse state economy, made up of diverse citizens. Pennsylvania will be crucial in the upcoming election, and it's people are looking for a party that can represent their interests in Congress. The choice should be easy for Pennsylvanians, because despite the fact that all the parties have separate ideals, in regards to how America can grow into the thriving Republic it has the potential to become, only the Federalists have the moderate balance in policy to bring true prosperity to the commonwealth, having plans to create new wealth, security, and development. They have fought long and hard for the people, despite ideological assault from the Republicans, which undermined the establishment of the vital National Bank law and further development of industry which could make America one of the wealthiest countries in the world, not just for the few urban dwellers but all Americans. Then, the forces in New Democracy eroded any hope of our nation progressing by fracturing off from the Federalists, and turning power over to the mob. The Federalist Party doesn't have a national platform, so that we may serve the different interests of each state, bound by the common ideal of a strong, responsible, and efficient central government, to preside over the United States along with state governments. In the poisonous atmosphere of this campaign, it may be easy to overlook the Federalist party's many important achievements, which include modernizing the country, developing wealth, industry, and trade, etc. So, we submit to the people of Pennsylvania a small list of many, reasons for you to fill the ballot box with votes for the Federalist Party who will fight for these listed items, given an opportunity to serve in Congress, by representing Pennsylvania's at-large district: National Road- The Federalist Party will fight for the development of a national road, a network of paths and roadways for carriages, horses, wagons, and regular travelers, connecting the 13 states/commonwealths, for more efficient travel and greater trade between the American people. Easier and faster access to goods, commerce, and centers of industry will help boost our nation's ability to generate wealth domestically, and bring together the people. This will benefit the sailor, the merchant, the farmer, the manufacturer, and all Americans from every walk of life. Federalist State Platforms- The Federalist Party does not have a national platform but rather a platform for every individual state and constituency, because they recognize the diversity of the American land and the American people, and wish to serve the interests of every part of this country. This means that the Federalists' best interests are truly the people instead of the party, while a Republican if elected, will force you to abide by laws in the interest of the south, favoring politics over the people. Strong and Compassionate GovernmentDespite the fact that the Federalists lack a clear and comprehensive national platform, they are bound by the principles of a strong and compassionate government, who will provide for the common defense of the people, and the economic wellbeing of the commonwealths and states that make this country, the United States of America. Whereas, the Republicans would have you divided and unorganized when a call for the defense of the country is made, through their stringent opposition to any federalist initiative, and they would want you, the ordinary man, to continue to carry your state's debt by refusing to allow the Federal assumption of state debts. For these and many other reasons, I would like to endorse all the fine men running to represent the Federalist Party in Pennsylvania's at-large district, and share with the people, the hope that a Federalist victory will be accompanied by a new Congress willing to work for policies and the building of a nation that Americans deserve, and fought for.

Findley's Fanaticism We the people of the United States have embarked upon a great experiment, an experiment in republicanism. No government like ours has existed without collapsing either into anarchy or monarchy. To succeed in our great experiment, we must select the moderate path, choosing neither the policies that would leave our government ineffective nor those that would leave it too effective. A republic is ultimately a compromise -- a compromise between tyranny of the masses and tyranny of the individual. Through this compromise, through this moderate course, we hope to avoid all tyranny. Yet there are some that oppose this republican path -- extremists like William Findley, a member of the radical Democratic faction of the Republican Party. Findley argued just this year to preserve the 1776 Pennsylvania Constitution -- a document that permitted, even encouraged, despotism by hysterical majority. Pennsylvania renounced this document for good reason -- for it brought with it great excesses. But Findley stood by it, declaring that the failed, indebted, and useless in society -- those unable to make truly independent decisions -- should run the government. Findley's fanaticism evidences itself not only in his support for tyranny by majority, but also in his opposition to true checks and balances. Findley supports a three-branch government, yes -- but truly, he wishes only one branch to have any power, the legislature. We all know what occurs when a single institution is granted such authority -- that institution, even if elected, becomes as despotic as Britain's Parliament. Yet Findley still supported a twelve-man executive, one too large and incoherent to function, and a judiciary about as independent as a man's arm is from his body. Let not Findley's fanaticism stop there, for even as he campaigns upon scare tactics about tyranny, he supports a tyrannical version of politics. Findley has willingly remained a member of a party that, like the Tories of Britain, has a national platform. Our Congress is supposed to be comprised of representatives of the states and the people -- not of representatives of William Brandt. Do we truly wish to elect men whose first duty is to their party, not their country? Do we truly wish to elect men who promise to vote their party line -- when members of their own party have endorsed piracy outright? Our nation needs responsible, reasonable Congressmen -- not fanatics like William Findley. This November, send Findley where he belongs -- back home.

FOR A UNITED FUTURE, VOTE FEDERALIST
Ethan Mulready, MC, Member for St Mary's, St Charles, and the South (Maryland), Federalist
Pennsylvania faces a momentous choice in just a few short days: it can elect to choose a disunited road to ruin, or a united road to prosperity. For the former, a vote for the New Democrats and Republicans will suffice. But to guarantee the latter road, one which will see us united as one nation of thirteen states, only a vote for Federalist candidates, men like William Irvine, will suffice.
The road to prosperity proposed by Mr Irvine is both figurative and literal. The Federalists propose the construction and completion of a national road, one which will unite the great centers of commerce and industry and connect them to that glittering hub of our nation, Philadelphia. A national road will serve not only the interests of major cities, but of rural communities as well. Access to the road means greater access to a market for crops, and access to the sea raises the prospect of foreign trade for even the smallest and most isolated of farmers in this great state. For the men of our cities, it means faster trade along the coast and with the interior of our great nation. Not a single one of our states will be left out of this grand project, one that will rank our country amongst the greatest of Europe when it comes to mercantile ability and services, and each of our thirteen states will have its connection to the central thoroughfare, which will by necessity converge here in Philadelphia, the crossroads between North, South, and Middle states.
William Irvine will go to Congress to secure our national road, and to support the other policies of our revered Commander-in-Chief. As Washington led us into unity as a nation, the Federalists will lead our nation into greater economic unity. The national road--the federal road--will be the device by which our country becomes more prosperous, more successful, and more united. The ties that bind us through our road will not be torn asunder, nor shall our nation ever again be divided.

Peace in Pennsylvania! Sovereignty for Pennsylvania! Prosperity for Pennsylvania! An Election Editorial by Elijah Surratt, Congressman of Virgina.
"Gentleman of Pennsylvania you have an easy choice come November. Will you vote for increased expansion of Federal Government? Will you vote for the tyranny that a National Bank brings? Will you vote to shed Pennsylvanian blood in Europe for some pompous monarch? The answer to those three questions is an obvious and resounding NO! No I will not vote for the political party or individuals who align themselves with the politics of conflict overseas, a New York Bank that dictates to the rest of the States, and finally a Federal Government that wishes to erode the powers of the State of Pennsylvania. Well Gentleman the choice comes down to two political factions. On side are the Federalist. They seek to involve us in foreign affairs in Europe. They seek to establish a National Bank to dictate interest rates and loans from New York. Finally they seek to undermine the State Legislature of Pennsylvania by weakening it's duties and responsibilities to it's citizens.
Fear not great gentleman of Pennsylvania. The Republicans are here. Many in Pennsylvania may not know of me. Well I'm a simple farmer from Virginia and I have recently been selected by my peers to reach out and spread the word of Liberty. Republicans oppose conflict in foreign lands. Republicans oppose a National Bank, and most importantly Republicans favor the strength of State Governments over the National Government that the Federalist Party is hellbent on growing. My friends I like so many of you fought for this 'Cause'. We shed blood in order to spit on King George and live in peace without retribution. We lost limb and life to live without the heavy burden of taxation without representation. Now we have representation and a new tasks faces us. Here in Pennsylvania members of two political parties are courting your vote. On the one side the Federalist seek to increase taxes, spend your money frivolously, crush the State Governments, and engage in battle on the European Continent. On the other side we Republicans seek to establish a short leash for the National Government, commit ourselves to Neutrality, and prevent the State of New York from telling Pennsylvania what to do through the means of a National Bank.
Gentlemen of Pennsylvania the Republican Party seeks your vote on election day. We seek your vote to prevent the erosion of the legislature of the second largest state in our new country. We seek your vote to prevent the involvement in senseless wars. Finally we seek your vote to prevent a National Bank that will only enrich the elite. A National Bank that has all ready been beaten back by the House of Representatives. Gentlemen of Pennsylvania you have been called on to preserve and defend Liberty. You have been called upon to once again rise up and smack tyranny in mouth. Vote Republican in November and may God Bless Pennsylvania."

On the Department of the Interior

The American South has been plagued in recent years by Native Tribes rampaging and ransacking through the region causing severe doubt about the stability of these southern states. While these tribes have been put down at the point of the sword, we must ask ourselves the larger question, which is, why did these Red men rise up against us? Were they paid by some outside power? Were they frightened or angered by our presence? Was it over a trade misnegotiation? These questions may remain unanswered for the Seminole War, but they are questions that we will ask again and again if these attacks keep happening, often without suitable answers.
However, there is another path. We may begin to repair the tears in our relationship with the Native people's of this land. We can do this through the newly proposed Department of the Interior, which would be charged with the responsibility and duty of negotiating and overseeing relations between the Red man and our fair nation. Now some would argue that this is rewarding them for bad behavior. It is not, merely it is an attempt to prevent the atrocities that plagued the South from happening elsewhere in the nation. It is a design to help promote greater integration with the Natives already in our nation, and strong relations with those outside, lest they be tempted to join in conspiracies with outside powers such as Britain. This Department will promote a more peaceful and prosperous continent and one that all Americans, regardless of ideology or location, should support.
